Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-05-08

These terms are a working document maintained by the site operator and have not been reviewed by counsel. They describe how the operator intends the site to be used. They are not a substitute for legal advice; if you need a binding agreement, contact the operator before relying on these terms.
What this site is
Who Owns Your Care publishes a database of healthcare organizations, their ownership, certifications, and legal history, drawn from public records. The site is operated by an independent healthcare operator. Disclosures are listed on the About page.
Accuracy and accountability

The site aims for accuracy and cites public sources where possible, but information is provided as-is with no warranty. Healthcare ownership and certification status can change; entries are dated and may not reflect the current state of an organization.

The site does not provide medical, legal, financial, or investment advice. Use of the database is not a substitute for professional consultation, due diligence, or contractual representations from the organizations listed.

Acceptable use
  • You may read, link to, and quote entries with attribution.
  • You may not scrape the site at a rate that interferes with its operation, attempt to defeat rate limits, or impersonate another submitter.
  • You may not use the database to harass, threaten, or defame any individual or organization listed.
  • You may submit information about organizations you have first-hand knowledge of, but you must not knowingly submit false information. Submissions are reviewed before publication; see the Editorial Policy for details.
Reuse of content
Editorial content authored by the operator (organization descriptions, methodology explanations) may be reused with attribution to Who Owns Your Care. Underlying public records, court documents, regulatory filings, and submitter content remain subject to their own copyright and licensing terms.
Corrections and removal
Subjects of database entries who believe a fact is wrong or has materially changed may request a correction or, in narrow cases, removal. The process is described on the Editorial Policy page. The operator reserves the right to update entries with new public information at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any decisions made in reliance on information published here. The site is offered as a public reference, not as a regulatory or compliance tool.
Changes to these terms
The operator may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be summarized on the homepage when made.
